Known for its hearty American fare and full-service bar and grill, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar has found its place in Hawaii — with one location in Kapolei and the other in Ewa Beach — and customers are loving it.

The restaurant is open daily and has a variety of entrees and drink items available from its bar and dining room.

Applebee’s also features a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to closing. Specials include half-off select appetizers, $1 off draft beer and wine, plus deals on certain cocktails, such as $5 House Long Island Ice Tea and Bahama Mama.

Try the new “Topped and Loaded” selection that offers diners up to 12 different meal combinations. First, customers start by choosing one of three main meats for their entree, then they “top it off” with a topper and “load” their meal up with two sides.

Assistant general manager Amanda Kelly recommends this best-selling combination: Bone-in Pork Chop served with a Cajun Shrimp Topper and a side of Fire-Grilled Veggies and Maple Pecan Mashed Sweet Potatoes ($21.49) that “taste just like Thanksgiving.”

Pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail, such as the shaken Perfect Margarita ($10) that has three types of tequila.
