If options and value are what you’re looking for when dining out, swing by Fairwood Drive Inn & Pho 27 Cafe. Conveniently located in Kaimuki Shopping Center on Waialae Avenue, this eatery has a little something for everyone, seeing as it offers up four different types of cuisine.
Diners in the mood to sit down and relax with their families and loved ones can do so at Pho 27 Cafe, which is designed as a dine-in Vietnamese and Hong Kong-style cafe. Or, if patrons are looking for something to go, they can quickly order from the takeout counter at Fairwood Drive Inn, which highlights Chineseand local-food favorites.
Owner Tiffany Ko takes great pride in the quality of her food. “Everything is made to order and fresh,” she says. “Plus, prices are low and there’s something everyone will love.”
Take Your Pick
Customers are in for a hearty treat with Mixed Grill Steak ($13.95), a popular Hong Kong cafe-style dish. It consists of chicken, pork chop, steak, ham and a hot dog, and comes with french fries, broccoli and a tomato, not to mention the customer’s choice of sauce (onion, tomato or black pepper).
Another favorite and current special is Jai ($9.25 with rice, $9.75 a la carte). Usually served only during Chinese New Year, this dish presents a medley of ingredients such as black mushroom, lily flower, Chinese cabbage, snow peas, bean curd, carrots, long rice, fungus and tofu.
