I still can’t believe it’s almost Thanksgiving! That’s right, just 11 more days. So, ready or not, the holidays are here.

Thankfully, Pacific Beach Waikiki Hotel is once again offering its popular Gourmet Holiday Feast On The Run featuring a complete ready-to-eat Thanksgiving dinner you can enjoy in the comfort of your home without the stressful planning, prepping, cooking and not-so-fun cleaning.

Choose the Turkey Dinner priced at just $125 or the Ham Dinner for $135. Both dinners serve eight to 10 people and include Maple Yams, Country Stuffing, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Edamame and Corn Succotash, Punaluu Sweet Bread Rolls and Pumpkin Pie.

The hot roasted turkey, which is 12 to 14 pounds, also comes with turkey giblet gravy and cranberry sauce. The hot honey glazed bone-in ham, which is 16 pounds, comes with honey bourbon mustard sauce. You also can add on the ham to the turkey dinner, or order extra sides for an additional cost.

“Our turkey is a bigger turkey than most of the other places, and the bone-in glazed ham is larger than usual too, and our price point is better than others,” says food and beverage director Patrick Faas. “Plus, everything we do is made in-house, including the homemade pumpkin pie. We actually put in a lot of time making sure that it’s cooked with perfection. Also, all the vegetables are 100 percent organic, which comes from Lei Farms on the Big Island, so it’s also farmed here in the community.

“The side dishes will have to be warmed up because they are done in advance, but the turkey will be just coming out of the oven that morning. If people prefer to cook it to a higher temperature to get it warm again once they get to their destination, of course that’s up to them, but it would not take very long.”

And while Gourmet Holiday Feast On The Run is one sure way to simplify your Thanksgiving holiday, it also will help Hawaii families of keiki with special needs. This year, Pacific Beach Waikiki Hotel will be donating a portion of the proceeds from Gourmet Holiday Feast On The Run to Kapiolani Medical Center For Women & Children’s The Campaign for Hawaii’s Children. They also will be delivering 50 free meals to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day and serving the families there.

“We were looking for something that would really match and benefit the community, and there just are a lot of families at the hospital throughout the holidays who don’t even know what they’re going to be cooking for their children tomorrow, let alone for the holidays,” says Faas. “So, this is really a great thing for them to have available, and to include the entire family, as well as the person who’s sick in the hospital. It’s a very comforting thing for these folks, and we already received a lot of comments from people in the hospital looking forward to it.”

For those who prefer to eat out, the spectacular Oceanarium restaurant in the Pacific Beach Hotel also will be offering a special Thanksgiving dinner buffet ($55) Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.

Only 300 Gourmet Holiday Feast On The Run meals are available. Drive-through pick-up (yes, you don’t even need to leave your car) takes place Thursday, Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pacific Beach Hotel via Liliuokalani Ave. Pre-payment is due Nov. 22.
