Don’t let the front entrance of Formaggio Wine Bar fool you. Behind the blacked-out glass is an unexpected, intricately designed, vintage European wine cellar-inspired interior. Add gourmet cuisine, a global array of wines (around 70 different types) and live music, and you’ve got the perfect intimate setting for a fun wine-and-dine experience.

On the lower level of Market City Shopping Center, the award-winning restaurant serves a menu of international flavors, including French and Italian cuisine, along with Mediterranean and Nepalese dishes.

CLASSIC DISH WITH A TWIST

Among the most popular dishes at Formaggio Wine Bar is its signature Baked Lobster “Mac” N Cheese ($17.99), which has been slightly modified from its original recipe for added taste. The dish is made with bow-tie pasta, lobster-claw meat, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, lobster bisque and topped with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Chef Guillermo Camacho’s version also has fondue, resulting in an even more flavorful sauce.
