By offering exquisite fine dining in a unique oceanside setting, Hau Tree Lanai at The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel serves up memorable meals featuring the freshest ingredients prepared with a Pacific Rim flair.
For a limited time, Hau Tree Lanai is offering a “Buyout Under the Stars” special that allows guests with a group of at least 80 people celebrating a special occasion, graduation, wedding or corporate function to enjoy buffet service from the newly renovated Sans Souci Room during dinner (5:30-9:30 p.m.), Monday through Thursday without having to pay to buy out the restaurant space.
Hau Tree Lanai offers intriguing buffet service menu options crafted by executive chef Rene Caba and his skilled team, which start at $90 per person (not including tax and gratuity) for the Deluxe Menu with selections including Hoisin Barbecued Chicken, Sake Glazed Baked Salmon and Kalbi Ribs Korean Style. The Supreme Menu ($120 per person, not including tax and gratuity) elevates the experience with local favorites including Roast Crisp Duck with Plum Sauce, Seafood Stir-Fry with Black Bean Sauce, Misoyaki Butterfish, Alaskan Crab Legs with Pernod Butter and Catch of the Day with Roasted Garlic Chili Cream Sauce.

Guests are also invited to enjoy Hau Tree Lanai’s cuisine during traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner service daily. To start the day on a positive note, Classic Eggs Benedict ($20) features turkey, Canadian bacon and poached eggs on grilled English muffins topped with hollandaise sauce served with breakfast potatoes. This must-try classic was voted “Best Eggs Benedict” by 111-Hawaii for 2017 and 2018.
For lunch, reel in the flavor with Grilled Shrimp Salad ($21) as the flavorful shrimp is accompanied by island pineapple kebob, avocado, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, sautéed mushrooms atop butter lettuce with a vinaigrette dressing.
Dinner at Hau Tree Lanai couples the memorable cuisine with an unforgettable ambience. Diners rave about Black Angus New York Steak ($43) made with Harris Ranch all-natural beef accented with garlic butter.
