When Applebee’s Grill & Bar made the move to the Islands, the American chain restaurant was met with diners eager to try all that it had to offer. And with hand- crafted burgers, fresh salads and much more awaiting you, it just makes sense to plan your next birthday, get-together or casual lunch at Applebee’s.
Get the party going with The Classic Combo ($16.50) offering some of the eatery’s top appetizers — Boneless Wings, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Chicken Quesadilla and Mozzarella Sticks — that’s perfect for sharing around the table.
“People come in looking specifically for (it) because you have almost everything in our appetizer world to make you happy,” says Gladys Duenez, brand manager of all Applebee’s locations in Hawaii.
Then, for your main attraction, go big with the Whisky Bacon Burger ($14.99), or enjoy something light yet full on flavor, like the Oriental Chicken Salad ($13.49).
Crispy chicken sits atop a bed of Asian greens, rice noodles and almonds, all tossed in Oriental vinaigrette. You can have grilled chicken instead, for no additional cost.
‘BACON’ ME CRAZY
Bacon fans rejoice as Applebee’s Grill & Bar offers some scrumptious eating in the form of its Whisky Bacon Burger ($14.99). “It’s our top-seller — I love it,” shares brand manager Gladys Duenez. She explains that the burger is topped with onion tanglers, bacon, Pepper Jack cheese, caramelized onions and a Fireball Whisky sauce, which is a tangy fusion of barbecue and whisky. Indulge with french fries, or upgrade to onion rings, sweet potato fries, house salad or Caesar salad for an additional fee.
