Good food that gives back, too

Young’s Fish Market knows a thing or two about giving back, and recently concluded its Kolten Wong Gold Glove Plate campaign to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

“He created a special plate with us and we sold it through 2020,” explains president and owner Daniel Young. “A dollar of each sale went to Make-A-Wish Hawaii.”

Now, Young’s is getting ready to revamp that promotion since Wong won his second-straight Rawlings Gold Glove Award for 2020.

“We’re going to create something brand new,” Young assures.

For now, patrons can still enjoy some Young’s Fish Market favorites, like the Beef Stew ($12.75), Combination Plates (starting at $19.25) and Poke Bowls (prices vary).

“These are pretty much our big-ticket items,” shares Young.
