Say “I do” with The Kahala Hotel & Resort, which is putting on a Wedding Showcase for brides and grooms to be.

The charming hotel and resort is the ultimate venue, offering diverse benefits that the wedding party and its guests can happily revel in. To reserve a spot at the Wedding Showcase, call the catering department at 739-8715 or email kahala-catering@kahalaresort.com.

On Saturday, April 11, from 3 to 7 p.m., interested parties can experience a snippet of their big day with The Kahala’s Wedding Showcase. The cost is $20 per person, (plus tax) and includes a cake sampling and favor.

“Discover the possibilities of your special day from decor and prizes to dancefloor fun,” says director of catering and conference services Grace Chan.

“Brides can check off all their wedding day needs in one destination.”

The event lineup includes consultations with various vendors; site tours of guest rooms and wedding venues; cake sampling; a table decorations/enhancements presentation and an oceanfront mock ceremony.

Chan further adds, “Wedding Showcase attendees who book their wedding by Friday, Oct. 30, will receive 20 percent off the Standard Banquet Menu (excluding beverages) and a complimentary location fee.” She also notes that the special is only valid for new bookings.

Making things even more exciting, various vendors at the event will be holding special giveaways (including gift certificates), with the grand prize being a two-night stay at The Kahala in an ocean-view room. As an added bonus, top off the night with a lovely meal at one of the resort’s restaurants, as showcase guests will receive 15 percent off on dinner at The Veranda, Hoku’s or Plumeria Beach House, valid only on April 11.

Last but not least, The Kahala would like to honor its kamaaina by offering a room rate starting from $297 per night, plus tax. There is no resort fee. For room inquiries, visit kahalaresort.com or call 739-8888.
