After more than three decades of crafting menu creations and pleasing legions of loyal customers, Chef Chai Chaowasaree continues a holiday gift card tradition that adds even more value to the iconic, award-winning island fusion cuisine at his namesake restaurant on the ground level of the Pacifica Honolulu Building on Kapiolani Boulevard across from the Neal Blaisdell Arena.
At Chef Chai, $100 gift cards are available now through Christmas Eve for just $80 with no expiration date! As a reminder, the specially priced gift cards are not available for redemption during happy hour.
“We do this every year, and a lot of customers look forward to the promotion,” says Chaowasaree. “In our first year with this holiday offer, we sold more than $200,000 worth of gift cards! So come in and pick up yours today.”
Chef Chai is the ideal destination for holiday parties and corporate functions. The restaurant features a private dining room — with its signature wine glass chandelier — that can seat up to 30 people. Special set menus are available starting at $65 per person, and as a reminder, the room is first come, first served, and a credit card is required to hold a reservation; guests are encouraged to call for availability during the busy holiday season.
Diners looking to enjoy a meal after work, see a movie in town or take in a special event at the Blaisdell can count on Chef Chai and his team to set the table with the delicious Early Bird Menu ($42 per person) available for guests seated between 4 and 5 p.m. that offers incredible value with a starter, appetizer sampler, choice of entree and dessert.
The Family Style Appetizer Sampler offers a diverse introduction to Chef Chai’s popular menu favorites on the Early Bird Menu including Smoked Duck Taco with Fresh Tomato Mango Salsa, Salmon Gravlax Roulade with Cream Cheese & Crab Meat on Cucumber Chips, Katafi and Macadamia Nut Crusted Jumbo Black Tiger Prawns with Pineapple Vinaigrette and Roasted Butternut Squash and Lobster Bisque Shooters.
