Whatever the reason, whatever the season, a visit to Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a mouthwatering option for an unforgettable meal. “Our steaks are Prime or high-cut of Choice, corn-fed Midwestern beef,” says
Emi Espinda, director of sales and marketing. Seasoned with just a little salt and pepper, steaks are broiled in 1800-degree ovens and served on platters heated to 500 degrees.
“The key is the quality of the beef, and the intense cooking heat that seals in the juices,” Espinda explains. The Porterhouse For Two ($125) offers an impeccable example of the restaurant’s expertise with steaks and chops.
One of Ruth’s signature items, the Sweet Potato Casserole ($13), may be enjoyed as side dish or dessert, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Or try the Chocolate Duo ($11.50). “It’s the yin and yang of desserts: warm molten cake filled with ganache, and cold chocolate pot du creme,” says Espinda temptingly.
As Ruth Chris’ Waterfront Plaza location observes its 30th anniversary this month, a Surf & Turf Anniversary Menu is being featured there, in special celebration.
“Mahalo to our community for supporting Ruth’s for the past 30 years!” says Espinda.
