A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS WEEK’S HOUSE SPECIAL: 3660’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY FOUR COURSE DINNER $55

September marks 3660 on the Rise’s 25th anniversary and the restaurant is certainly rising to the occasion for its special milestone.

When Dining Out stopped in recently, the always enthusiastic chef de cuisine, Lydell Leong, was more than accommodating to ensure our experience was an enjoyable one — just as he is day after day when catering to the eatery’s first-time and regular patrons alike.

The eatery and its staff are vigilant and attentive to diners’ requests, and not just in its daily service. Leong notes that sometimes, after they change up the menu or a certain dish, the customer input is what helps decide whether the change will stay or go.

One of the well-received additions to the eatery’s menu is its new happy hour time slot. Leong admits that he was pleasantly surprised at how popular it’s become. “I really wasn’t expecting it to be so busy, but the bar area really filled up!”

For those who are looking to top off their day — or start off their night — on a tasty note, the happy hour is available Tuesday through Thursday evenings (5:30-7 p.m.). There’s a different drink special every day and delicious Happy Hour Bites ranging from $7.50 to $10.

In celebration of 3660’s anniversary, Chef Lydell invites customers to stop in from Sept. 3-30 to enjoy the restaurant’s special four course dinner for just $55 per guest. The meal includes an appetizer; choice of soup or salad; choice of New York Steak Alaea, Soy Marinated Butterfish or Shichimi Seared Breast of Chicken; and a dessert.
