Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar promises an authentic Italian culinary experience, just as it has been offering since renowned steak-house restaurateur Wolfgang Zwiener opened the eatery almost seven years ago. Today, its menu includes breakfast, lunch, tapas and dinner, along with happy hour and weekend brunch.

Patrons also may host parties at Il Lupino, which holds 100 people inside and can do smaller, semi-private setups.

Brand new to the restaurant is Afternoon Tea, which treats guests like royalty from 3 to 5 p.m. “We noticed that we would get ladies and families in about this time after a day of shopping or activities, wanting a snack or small meal, or coffee/tea and something sweet,” explains PR and marketing director Mona Wood-Sword. “We thought the British tradition of high tea would be the perfect respite for these customers.”

HIGH TIME FOR TEA

During Afternoon Tea, guests may select from multiple varieties of loose-leaf teas ($8 each). MajesTea ($53, serves two) offers one of Il Lupino’s Classic Tea Selections with rustic almond-flour mini cakes and pastries, mini sandwiches and bruschetta, and a glass of Castello di Bossi Chianti Classico, Pio Cesare Gavi or Bele Casel Prosecco. Another option, NobleTea ($36, serves two), offers up to three Classic Teas with the yummy cakes, pastries and fresh fruit.
