Even if you can’t take a vacation this spring, you can at least feel like you’re getting away from it all at 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar. Located inside of Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki, 100 Sails is a sleek, modern space with expansive windows overlooking the water.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on fresh island cuisine — local ingredients are sourced whenever possible — the restaurant is helmed by chef de cuisine Joseph Almoguera.

For a complement to any meal, there’s Baked Brie ($16), which features brie cheese baked in brioche and accented with macadamia nuts, brown sugar and berries pickled in balsamic and herbs. And, if you really want to get into the spring-break mode, check out the 100 Sails happy hour. Offered daily from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and from 8 to 10 p.m., the restaurant’s happy hour includes discounted prices on a range of drinks and appetizers. Throughout the month of March, its happy hour comes with these special deals: $2 off wines on tap with a complimentary cheese and fruit taster, $2 off draught beers and a sample trio of draught beers for $5.

Hawaii Prince Hotel’s 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar chef de cuisine Joseph Almoguera, along with his team, concoct inventive menu items like Kakuni Eggs Benedict ($22). A creative take on a classic Benedict, this dish features Japanese-style braised pork belly, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and braised liquid reduction on a taro muffin.
