Kozo Sushi is well known for its quick service and for offering up a fusion of tasty sushi creations. The company hails from Osaka, Japan, and first opened in 1972. Today, the dining chain has many locations, including five on Oahu — Keeaumoku, Moiliili, Kahala Mall, Pearlridge and Pearl City — all of which are proud of its fresh ingredients, quality fare and great customer service.

Kozo Sushi is considered an island favorite because its chefs always are inventing new menu items. Drawing on local flavors, the latest creations always are a treat for local customers.

The menu offers a wide range of nigiri, specials, makimono and more. Kozo Sushi also is proud to offer a choice of brown or white rice with meals, and doesn’t use MSG in any of its dishes.

Additionally, Kozo Sushi’s menu includes numerous party platters ranging from 30 to 98 pieces of various types of tasty nigiri, maki, inari and more. Consider one of Kozo Sushi’s Party Plates for your next gathering with family and friends.

HOW SWEET IT IS

Newest on Kozo Sushi’s menu is Sweet Chili Chicken Bento. For $8.99, this very simple yet delicious bento offers half a pound of crispy deep fried chicken, seasoned with a special Japanese-style sauce. A side of white or brown rice topped with furikake, two pieces of shinko maki and a salad come with the bento.
