“Everyone enjoys a good bowl of ramen,” says Nagoya Ramen secretary Sue Chen. “Our house special Nagoya Ramen is something that our customers really love.”

Priced at $8.75, Nagoya Ramen features a mound of ramen noodles, garnished with char siu, fish-cake, veggies, seaweed, egg and corn swimming in a savory, hot paitan soup base. This house special also is served with a side of chicken katsu for your dining pleasure.

“Paitan sauce is the most popular soup base, but we also offer other broths such as miso, shio and shoyu,” she adds. “A lot of people think we are only known for our ramen, but we want to make it clear that our curry selections are just as good.”

In search of a substantial meal? Go ahead and treat yourself to Nagoya Ramen’s Mochiko Chicken Curry Rice ($5.25 mini, $7.25 regular). This hearty entree features a bed of rice, smothered in a zesty Japanese curry topped with ever-so-tender pieces of Mochiko chicken.

If you want the best of both worlds, inquire about Nagoya’s ramen and curry combos. Head chef Steven Lin also specializes in Mapo Tofu Ramen ($6.50), Spicy Beef Ramen ($7.25) and Spicy Seafood Ramen ($7.50) for those who want to add a bit of spice to their life.
