As the slogan says, “There’s no diner finer than Big City Diner,” and customers who frequent the restaurant’s five locations can appreciate its commitment to patrons and focus on serving the community.

Dining Out caught up with Meredith Teijeiro and her mother, Selene Souza, at the Waipio Big City Diner for lunch one day. Both agree that the staff is very friendly and noted that the servers always seem to remember them upon returning for another delicious meal. Teijeiro praised the Hamburger Steak ($9.99) that’s served with crispy onions and gravy, and she always opts for the garlic smashed potatoes.
