Dining Out caught up with Dwight Au, Stacey Acma and Amanda Price at IHOP on Ala Moana Boulevard last Tuesday for National Pancake Day. The trio is part of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is a national nonprofit organization that helps Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children.

IHOP celebrated the special day by giving out free pancakes to customers. Customers in return were given the option to make a monetary donation that would go to help the children of the hospital.

Dwight Au: I like anything on the breakfast menu. I like the original pancakes and syrup. I’m very traditional.

Stacey Acma: The pancakes. They’re fluffy and light, and there’s a lot of flavor. I like real, old-fashioned syrup.

Amanda Price: Any kind of omelette like the veggie and cheese. I like a more savory breakfast.
