When Romano’s Macaroni Grill first opened at Ala Moana Center in 2005, a unique and authentic brand of Italian food was introduced to Hawaii. Ten years later, regional corporate chef Nawai Kekoolani continues to strive to make his guests happy.

“I really like having interactions with the guests and seeing their happy faces, especially when they see the food,” he says.

At Romano’s, you’ll want to take advantage of the Pasta of the Week special. Display a printed version of the offer or pull it up on your smart phone — special available on Macaroni Grill Hawaii’s Facebook page — when ordering the Pasta of the Week, and you’ll receive a free dessert. Guests are then invited to post a picture with their Pasta of the Week on social media (hashtag #pastaof theweek) for a chance to win a $25 gift card to the eatery.

BUON APPETITO!

This week’s Pasta of the Week is Pasta di Mare ($22), which delights seafood-lovers with perfectly seared scallops, mussels and shrimp combined with fettuccine pasta lathered in a garlic and white wine red sauce. And while you’re at it, try Mama’s Trio. For only $23, patrons receive chicken Parmesan, lasagna Bolognese and spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
