A Waikiki staple for nearly 20 years, Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar showcases signature sushi rolls, award-winning appetizers, succulent steaks and more mouthwatering menu items.

The eatery now offers incredible early-bird pricing from 5:30 to 6 p.m. every day of the week. On Sundays and Mondays, guests enjoy 50% off almost all menu items, and 25% off from Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Sunday and Monday early-bird seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so diners are advised to arrive around 4:30 p.m. to secure a spot. Reservations and walk-ins are accepted for the Tuesday through Saturday early-bird pricing.

An appealing entrée is the Asian Spice Crusted Grilled 14-ounce Prime New York Steak (regularly $60). A juicy slab of perfectly seasoned steak is served alongside local baby arugula, fingerling potatoes, grape tomato salad and garlic jus.

The Moana Sashimi Platter (regularly $52.95) offers four pieces each of fresh ahi, hamachi, salmon, ika, koji-seared marlin and tako sumiso with sunomono and kizami wasabi. Enough for the whole table to share!

Sansei Waikiki presents an array of contemporary sushi rolls, and the Takah Roll (regularly $17.50) is not to be missed. Named after owner D.K. Kodama’s mentor, this upscale California roll combines shrimp, ahi, crab, avocado and cucumber — with an outer rice layer crusted with masago.

“Locally owned, we are a family friendly, casual-dining restaurant with a reputation for excellent sushi and great steaks,” says general manager Eileen Bailey-Marchan.
