Enjoy a fun Mother’s Day concert

Treat mom to brunch and a show at Halekulani this Mother’s Day.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. for guests to indulge in a special brunch buffet, and at 11 a.m., enjoy a performance from Amy Hanaialii in the hotel ballroom.

“After not being able to celebrate with guests and locals the past two years, we wanted to provide another special and thoughtful way for people to honor moms for Mother’s Day at Halekulani,” says general manager Ulrich Krauer.

Special events chef Shaden Sato, who has been with the company for nearly 20 years, will prepare the Mother’s Day feast. Diners can expect a prime rib and turkey carving station, omelet station, sashimi, desserts and more.

“We have a wide range of items for our guests to choose from, however, chef Shaden’s charred broiled flank steak with chimichurri is always a hit,” Krauer says. “Guests should be sure to save room for desserts, as no celebration is complete without our signature Halekulani Coconut Cake!”

To celebrate the special occasion, a complimentary mimosa, long-stemmed rose and a giveaway from SpaHalekulani will be presented to all mothers and grandmothers who attend.

“(Amy Hanaialii) has performed for the Dalai Lama, President Barack Obama and now, for our Halekulani guests,” Krauer notes.

The event costs $145 per adult and $73 per child. Prices are inclusive of tax and gratuities.
