Look forward to a spirited sale

During Labor Day weekend, fans of quality, unique alcohols can head to Royal Hawaii Spirits (RHS) Distillery at Kapalama Shopping Center for a closing sale special that runs through Tuesday, Sept. 7. Those who buy any two bottles get one free; and if you’re feeling particularly keen on spirits, buy one case of rum or whiskey and get one case free.

“Mahalo for six years of supporting us,” says founder Karel Kon, who started the business to fill a niche for quality European-style liquors here in the islands.

To that end, RHS Distillery’s libations have garnered more than 150 awards from international tasting competitions, making the closing sale special quite a deal in terms of quality and flavor.

“We will try to reopen at a new location,” Kon shares, noting to stay tuned for any future updates.
