As the holiday season rapidly approaches, Island Popper Gourmet Popcorn is gearing up to roll out its highly anticipated fall flavors in October.

Guests can keep their eyes — and noses — out for “fan-favorite” Pumpkin Spice Pecan Caramel and a newcomer to the flavor lineup: Caramel Apple with Peanuts. Island Popper is also offering a spooktacular special with its Halloween cups ($10 for four, $2.50 each), which feature a Halloween print and hold two-and-a-half cups of any flavored or mixed popcorn option — kakimochi can be added for an additional 25 cents per cup.

The Halloween cups can be ordered in advance through islandpopper.net. All customers need to do is choose a flavor or mix, and select a date and time for pickup — it’s that simple.

“Our Halloween cups are the perfect festive and delicious Halloween treat to share with friends, family, or co-workers,” says owner Andrea Tournis-Vagenas. “They meet all COVID-19 pandemic safety criteria for offices and schools.”

The Island Popper team recently celebrated its second anniversary at its brick-and-mortar location, which is quite an accomplishment for the small business, as it was forced to navigate the unpredictable operating climate throughout the pandemic.

“This is a big deal for us, given this last year-and-a-half with COVID, and making it as a small business,” Tournis-Vagenas says. “At the end of the day, I want to make people happy by making the most delicious popcorn they have ever had.

“Whether it is for customers to enjoy themselves, to share with their family, or to give as a gift, I want to bring on the smiles!”
