The start of a new year is an exciting time, and what better way to ring it in than with a hearty meal from Zippy’s alongside the people you love. In true Zippy’s fashion, whether dining in or taking out, the options are plenty. As we welcome 2021, staff members at Zippy’s locations across the state are ready to serve you with smiles on their faces and heaping plates of local-style favorites.

“We would like to thank the community for all their support, and like everyone else, we are looking forward to a better 2021,” says marketing manager Jeanine Mamiya-Kalahiki.

To kick things off for the month of January, expect Mini Combo Meals — available at the fast-food counter only — to satisfy every craving.

“We wanted to offer more offers to start 2021 better,” explains Mamiya-Kalahiki.

Each week, expect a different plate — and, best news of all, with every purchase of a Mini Combo Meal, you’ll also get a mini chili and medium drink (excludes Orange Bang and Lilikoi). Mamiya-Kalahiki adds that you can upgrade to a large drink for an additional 50 cents. Here’s the breakdown, so you can plan your January accordingly:

Assorted pastries (prices vary)

• Jan. 4-10: Mini Spaghetti ($8.95, Oahu)

• Jan. 11-17: Mini Chicken Katsu ($9.50, Oahu)

• Jan. 18-24: Mini Chili Chicken ($9.95, Oahu)

• Jan. 25-31: Mini Zip Pac ($10.40, Oahu).

Lighter fare is also on the menu this month for those wanting to adhere to their New Year’s resolution of eating healthier or losing weight. Featured for the first month of 2021 is a previous favorite that’s making a tasty comeback: Furikake Miso Salmon, which comes as a plate ($10.50, fast-food; $12.10, restaurant; Oahu) or salad ($10.75, fast-food; $12.35, restaurant; Oahu).

Expect a new Mini Combo Meal each week in January.

National Spaghetti Day is tomorrow (Jan. 4)! To celebrate, Zippy’s offers a one-day-only special on its regular Spaghetti with Garlic Bread ($7.75 fast-food counter; $8.95 dine-in).
