Zippy’s is doing its best to keep Hawai‘i’s bellies full, and its limited takeout menu has top-notch local choices (check out those delicious descriptions below), as well as bakery items like the ever-famous mochizada — a mix of mochi and a malasada.

Ideally, ordering and paying online is preferred, and those that take advantage of this option will be treated to curbside pickup.

“Drive up to Zippy’s, show them the order on your phone, and they would bring out your order to your car,” explains marketing manager Jeanine Mamiya Kalahiki. “Customers don’t have to get out of their car. Very convenient, and safe!”

Make sure you verify takeout and pickup options, as each Zippy’s location is set up differently.

KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN PLATE ($11.15)

Zippy’s Korean Fried Chicken is a favorite for a reason, and you can indulge in the sweet and tangy goodness as part of a tried-and-true local-style plate lunch.

DELUXE BREAKFAST BENTO ($8.30)

Featuring a little bit of everything, this hearty meal is only available during breakfast hours, so rise and shine!

ZIP PAC ($11.15)

The famous Zip Pac remains a fan fave for a reason, thanks to the ono fried chicken, breaded fish, teri beef and Spam — all atop a bed of furikake rice.

GLAZED MOCHIZADAS ($1.95 EACH) ASSORTED NAPPLES ($2.75 EACH)

Add a little sweetness to your life with an assortment of bakery items, including the highly coveted Glazed Mochizadas, which are exactly what they sound like — mochi mixed with that malasada goodness.
