If you’re curious about making chocolate, check out one of Menehune Mac’s Chocolate Making Experiences ($15 plus tax per person, reservations are required).

Menehune Mac Chocolate Factory & Gift Boutique invites everyone to sweetly celebrate Tuesday, March 17, as Hawaiian Leprechaun Day.

The confectionary company’s Dark Chocolate Peppermint Crunch ($12 for 15 pieces) is a refreshing combination of peppermint and dark chocolate bearing the image of an adorable, smiling menehune on it.

“Great for an afternoon pick-me-up and an after-dinner, our Hawaiian Leprechaun shaped squares is a defi nite crowd favorite,” shares Susan Morita, executive chocolate taster for Menehune Mac Candies. “These delectable delights are handmade and available in limited quantities,” she adds.

Also known as St. Patrick’s Day, the Irish-themed celebration on March 17 is known for being a day to wear — and even eat or drink — things that are gloriously green in hue.

Offering something very green and lucky, which is also made by hand in limited quantities, Menehune Mac has its 5-ounce Green Tea Matcha Crunch ($9 for 18-20 pieces).

“Slightly bitter matcha powder blended with our sweet vanilla creme confection, then double rolled again into matcha powder is the perfect balance for matcha latte lovers,” Morita notes.

“Matcha leaves are grown on green tea bushes kept under shade. Our matcha comes from Japan, where it has been grown for centuries and is used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies,” Morita adds as an enlightening matcha fact.

Besides having these delicious treats to eat, Menehune Mac also has special upcoming events on the horizon —
