A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS WEEK’S HOUSE SPECIAL: MONT BLANC “MUD PIE” ($13)

MW Restaurant’s interior is currently dressed to the nines in sparkling Christmas decorations and trimmings, creating an elegant and cozy spot to enjoy the holidays a little extra. This ambiance surely sets the scene perfectly, pairing with MW Restaurant’s upcoming special holiday events.

On Christmas Eve and Day, the restaurant is hosting a pleasingly tantalizing dinner to celebrate the season. The family-style set dinner features Brandt Beef Prime Rib as the star of the show. The cost is $85 per person and a children’s menu is also available upon request.

Then, saddle up and keep your appetites ready the following week with another set dinner. This time, the main event is a mesmerizing Lobster Roulade with Red Curry Sauce. This New Year’s meal is $120 per person.

Family owned and operated by husband and wife duo Wade Ueoka and Michelle Karr-Ueoka, MW Restaurant is known for its comfort, home-style cooking infused with creativity and innovation. From desserts like MW Grandma’s Cookies to rotating themed meals like Backyard Barbecue (previously held in July 2019), there’s always something new to discover at this elevated dining establishment.

TO ‘RYE’ FOR

This finely crafted dish is carefully topped with glistening gold flakes and cinnamon rye, which provides a crisp, airy bite.

A SURPRISE INSIDE

Within the white chocolate dome is a cooling mix of chestnut ice cream on top of quince and Riesling poached pear ice cream.

FACE THE BASE

Beneath it all is a glorious chocolate crunch crust.

SURROUNDED BY THE BEST

These very light and perfectly creamy squiggles are a chestnut mousse that gives off just the right amount of flavor.

GET IT SOON

Serving as a traditional wintertime dessert, this Mont Blanc “Mud Pie” is only available for a limited time (until early January) as part of MW Restaurant’s winter menu.
