Romano’s Macaroni Grill isn’t some overpriced, special-occasion-only restaurant, emphasizes Nawai Kekoolani, regional director of operations. In fact, it is just the opposite.

“We’re an everyday destination,” he shares. A combination of affordable prices, a family-oriented environment, and delicious food constantly draws customers back to the eatery on a regular basis, he explains.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill is situated in Ala Moana Center, where its staff has warmly welcomed guests for the past 13 years.

“Every guest wants to be treated like a king or a queen — and they should,” notes Kekoolani.

Boasting a child-friendly atmosphere, keiki can enjoy themselves at the restaurant by drawing on the paper-topped tables. Additionally, the eatery has a kids-eat-free on Mondays special this month (inquire for more details).

“We want to provide our guests with a great experience, and kids are the future,” Kekoolani adds.

The restaurant also is currently running a pizza and glass of draft beer for $12 special during happy hour.

What’s more, the eatery offers three types of full-size, heat-and-serve pasta dishes for customers to take home. Romano’s Macaroni Grill can also handle catering orders and large parties.

“With the holidays coming up, keep us in mind. Let us do the work for you,” Kekoolani says.

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE

Whether you are craving pasta, steak, seafood or a multitude of other delectable dishes, Romano’s Macaroni Grill has you covered.

For example, the restaurant’s menu offers Tuscan Ribeye ($28.95). This dish consists of a mouth-watering 12-ounce portion of juicy Angus ribeye steak served with scrumptious Parmesan roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus and topped off with rosemary butter.

Another wildly popular item available at Romano’s Macaroni Grill is Shrimp Portofino ($21.95). This dish takes a nice, lightly-flavored approach, starting with a lemon-butter sauce combined with a bountiful amount of juicy shrimp, mushrooms, garlic, spinach and pine nuts. Capellini, which is a very thin type of Italian pasta, accompanies this item. Modifications can be done to the dish to suit guests’ desires.

So, if you are in the mood for a little surf or turf, head over to Romano’s Macaroni Grill.
