Beef short ribs, pork belly and bulgogi

Extraordinary value and great flavors are present throughout Camellia Buffet’s expansive array of Korean-inspired cuisine, as diners of all ages and appetites enjoy the “thrill of the grill.”

Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying the engaging experience any day of the week, Camellia Buffet serves up a scintillating array of local favorites on its all-you-can-eat buffet, as the popular establishment specializes in quality Korean dishes and flavors prepared yakiniku-style at diners’ tables.

Barbecue chicken, boneless short ribs and spicy pork

Guests have come to count on Camellia Buffet over the years for quality meals with great value. The dining destination at 930 McCully St. remains affordable and continues to offer an enjoyable experience for all.

The buffet is available at newly lowered prices, and can be enjoyed daily during lunch (10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) and dinner (2:30-10 p.m.) for just $15.99 (lunch) and $26.99 (dinner), while children ages 4-10 receive discounted rates of $7.99 and $13.99, respectively.

Fried vegetable and japchae, fried rice, noodles, chicken and potatoes, and mini seafood pancakes

Multiple selections grace the buffet line (available items may vary) at Camellia, including bulgogi (marinated barbecue beef), spicy pork, barbecue chicken, teriyaki chicken, and both boneless and bone-in short ribs, as well as beef intestine and beef tongue, which should be available soon.

Camellia Buffet diners rave about pork belly, as the offering is similar to thick-cut bacon, although it is usually enjoyed lightly grilled so the meat remains tender and soft — the pork belly’s natural salt content pairs nicely with one’s favorite beverage. Additionally, multiple side dishes such as kimchee japchae (Korean noodles), fried vegetables, an array of soups and mini seafood pancake are on the buffet line.

Selection of assorted sides

Camellia Buffet recently underwent a restaurant-wide renovation, with a refreshed look and new lighting, under new owner Shawna Kim, who added sushi rolls and nigiri selections to the nightly dinner buffet.

A new cook also joined the team, and brings nearly 20 years of experience to the kitchen, which is showcased in some of the rotating special dishes, including mandoo, chicken wings and crab.

“We offer lots of choices for the entire family,” says Kim. “Here, you can enjoy all your favorites at a reasonable price.”

As a special inside scoop for Dining Out readers, Camellia Buffet is featuring a Valentine’s Day special available Feb. 11-17, during which couples will receive 20 percent off their dining experience — an excellent dining-inspired date night!
