Tis the season for holiday gatherings, cozy sweaters and, of course, indulgent food catered for the season’s many festivities. And when it comes time for you to bring some goodies to a family party, stop by Kozo Sushi for one of its stellar sushi platters.

Choose from eight different selections that’ll have you “raw-kin'” around the Christmas tree, including Junior Set, Aloha Set, Family Set, Deluxe Maki Set, Kahala Special Plate, Kamaaina Plate, and the Sukeroku Set and Deluxe Nigiri Set.

Sukeroku Set ($23.50) features 36 pieces of sushi — 24 pieces of futomaki and 12 pieces of inari — while Deluxe Nigiri Set ($36.99) features 45 pieces of nigiri, such as ahi, ika, egg, negitoro, ikura, masago, ebi, unagi and salmon; and hoso maki, including tekka, cucumber and shinko maki.

The eatery also has expanded its donburi assortments, with more than 10 items, like Spicy Ahi Natto Don, Teri Chicken Don and Salmon Ikura Don.

VEGETARIAN-FRIENDLY BITES

With the many types of hand rolls, nigiri, bentos, platters and donburis that Kozo Sushi has to offer, you are sure to find something to satisfy everyone, including veggie-lovers. Find a variety of vegetable-filled items, including Veggie ($1.85) hand roll with avocado, cucumber, lettuce and mayo, as well as different types of donburis, like Tofu Poke Don ($6.99) with avocado, cucumber and tofu, dressed with green onion, nori, sesame seeds and a special poke sauce; and Spicy Kaki-Age Don ($6.80), featuring vegetable tempura with green onion, and both spicy and teriyaki sauces.
