Applebee’s remains a household name around the world, with top-notch American cuisine propelling its stellar reputation ever forward. And after what seems like a long time coming, the established dining chain has finally planted roots in Hawaii — specifically in Ewa Beach (opened last November), and soon to be Kapolei’s Ka Makana Alii, opening tomorrow.

The location choice was strategically planned — away from the busyness of Town, within a family-oriented community and with ample parking available right by Foodland in Ewa Town Center.

Applebee’s offers a grill and bar experience you can’t get anywhere else. Some heartier menu standouts are Bone-in Pork Chop with Honey Apple Chutney, Double-glazed Baby Back Ribs and the new Whiskey Bacon Burger, while healthier options include Cedar Grilled Lemon Chicken, Pepper Crusted Sirloin and Whole Grains, and Southwestern Steak Salad. Also good to note: The dessert selections are so out-of-this-world delicious that you may want to order one before your actual meal. The Applebee’s staff suggests Butter Pecan Blondie and, of course, Triple Chocolate Meltdown for the perfect sweet finish — or beginning.

Come for lunch and select from affordable and flavorful lunch combos (served until 3 p.m.), or take advantage of the all-day happy hour, which starts tomorrow at the bar area only. During happy hour, enjoy daily food and drink specials, the latter of which include new cocktails such as Blue Hawaiian Long Island Iced Tea and Watermelon Sangria.
