In the heart of Manoa Valley, Fendu Boulangerie is a neighborhood bakery that’s become a gathering place for those craving everything from European-style confections, including pastries, oven-baked pizzas, sandwiches and soups. The bake shop opened its doors for business in 2009, and today, humble owner and baker Niel Koep continues to put smiles on patrons’ faces — one creation at a time.

With March coming to a close, take these final days to enjoy Fendu Boulangerie’s monthly special Spicy Chicken Cilantro Pizza. Priced at $12.25 for 8-inch and $18.75 for 14-inch, this mouthwatering pizza pie is topped with cilantro and macadamia nut pesto, goat cheese, fresh mozzarella and morsels of chicken tenderloin marinated in Sambal chili sauce for a mild spiciness.

While you’re at it, also take a bite out of Sundried Tomato Cheese Bread ($5.85 regular, $3.85 petit). Available every Wednesday, this must-try, made-from-scratch French sourdough is infused with sundried tomatoes and Parmesan Reggiano from Italy.
