The kiawe wood-fired brick oven (lovingly dubbed “The Beast”) and freshly made dough from Italian flour make this pizza a slice above the rest. Topped with ingredients both local and imported, the result is a sweet, smoky crust with a crisp on the outside and a nice chew on the inside. At Inferno’s Wood Fire Pizza at Ward Centre, choose from an array of pizzas on the menu, such as Guava Smoked Pork pizza, or build your own. Sometimes simple is best, such as the Sopressata with just marinara, fresh mozzarella and Italian Sopressata salami.
