More Than Just Sensational Sushi

Sushi fanatics are going gaga over G Sushi, a Kaiten-style sushi establishment conveniently located at Market City Shopping Center, where customers can select from a variety of sushi selections and other Japanese favorites that pass by each table on boats afloat on water.

Owner Lisa Yuan says each piece of sushi is handcrafted to perfection and made fresh to order by top-notch sushi chefs.

“We offer so much more than just your typical sushi,” Yuan explains. “There’s something here that everyone can enjoy.”

Yes, indeed. Patrons’ growing appetites have been seeking out G Sushi’s Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab ($5.99), Seared Aji Hotate ($3.59) and Sweet Potato Croquette ($2.39), to name a few.

“These have proved to be very popular items,” Yuan says. “They’ve been on the menu for a while now, but people still love them.”

The Seared Aji Hotate features seared scallop topped with a special sauce of mayo and masago on a bed of rice. This entree pairs nicely with the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, which seafood lovers find irresistible. The crab itself melts in your mouth and is accompanied by a medley of fresh greens and sliced carrots to brighten up the masterpiece.

Finally, sink your teeth into G Sushi’s Sweet Potato Croquette. Diners enjoy the smooth texture of the sweet potato while also relishing the crispy, lightly fried exterior that’s drizzled with just the right amount of katsu sauce to give it that extra kick.

Keep in mind that if you don’t see exactly what you want on the boats right away, you also can order straight off the menu and the chefs will be more than happy to prepare your meal to order. Don’t forget to save room for decadent pieces of sashimi and piping hot bowls of saimin as well.
