Diners will find fine Japanese cuisine at Miyako Japanese Restaurant situated on the second floor of The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel.

Located along the end of Waikiki, the restaurant provides patrons with a breathtaking environment. Miyako features a choice of cabana seating, which overlooks the ocean for an elegant, intimate sunset scene.

Sashimi Platter ($40)

Offering an authentic experience, the chef hails from Japan, while waitresses wear traditional kimono. The establishment’s dishes give guests a true taste of the Land of the Rising Sun.

For example, customers constantly delight in the Japanese Style Garlic Shrimp ($24). These plump, juicy crustaceans are expertly cooked and melded with an intensely flavorful garlic sauce.

Broiled Misoyaki Butterfi sh ($34)

There are many other seafood options for lovers of edibles from the briny depths.

Among them is the Sashimi Platter ($40) featuring assorted sashimi from Hawaii. It mixes multiple kinds of extremely fresh fish and shrimp with choices that change on a daily basis.
