L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is always ready to help guests and residents alike enjoy its unique taste of Hawaiian-inspired cuisine.
“We thrive to have our guests come to a delightfully flavorful understanding of Hawaii’s rich culture of taste through various menu offerings,” says director of marketing Brandon Dela Cruz. “There really is something for everyone on the L&L menu!”
Some of these menu items include the slow-roasted, shredded Kalua Pork with Cabbage ($14.99); the classic Spam Musubi ($3), made with a slice of Spam on a bed of rice wrapped in seaweed; and the BBQ Mix Plate ($18.99), which features beef, chicken and short ribs in L&L’s barbecue marinade.
Hawaii’s residents aren’t the only customers enjoying the restaurant’s dishes, as L&L’s cuisine has also reached those on the mainland.
“It’s wonderful to see that the comfort food of Hawaii with the plate lunch continues to win the hearts and bellies of those beyond our island,” Dela Cruz says. “We’ve done well to continue to open locations across the continental United States while seeing our existing restaurants thrive.”
L&L recently opened another location in Washington, D.C., and will continue to open restaurants across the East Coast.
“I’d like to see the continued embrace of Hawaiian cuisine outside of Hawaii,” Dela Cruz says.
According to him, the restaurant chain’s Ala Wai location is unique in that it is the only full-service dine-in L&L that highlights other offerings in addition to the standard L&L menu.
“This location has an extensive pupu menu — great for after golf or pau hana activities — and breakfast items such (as) omelets and sandwiches,”
Dela Cruz adds. “This location also offers a bar and is available to host large parties of up to 100 people.”
Whether visiting an L&L in Hawaii or on the mainland, guests can look forward to the many promotions the restaurant will feature in 2024, including Spam Musubi Day on Aug. 8 and year-round catering for special events.
