It’s said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Eggs ‘n Things restaurants live up to this motto by serving guests sweet and savory treats each morning.
“We bring a very unique dining experience for all of our guests and want them to always feel like they are a part of our extended ohana,” says regional kitchen manager Lance Oshima. “We always try our best in utilizing fresh ingredients in our dishes, keeping prices reasonable, and serving our guests with the spirit of aloha.”
Eggs ‘n Things’ menu features Fresh Ahi and Eggs ($17.95) with furikake mac nut-crusted ahi and gluten-free potatoes. A classic in the islands, the Hawaiian Loco Moco ($15.95) is also served with two grass-fed beef patties, diced Portuguese sausage, sliced mushrooms and onions topped with two eggs of the customer’s choice.
Guests who like sweeter eats are welcome to enjoy the Sweet Bread French Toast ($15.95), made with three cuts of sweet bread topped with fresh pineapple, whipped cream and macadamia nuts.
“We utilize local beef in our loco mocos, only fresh local eggs, and our ahi is fresh line caught and always served fresh,” Oshima says. “We were established in 1974 and just celebrated our 50th anniversary last month and are very excited to still be serving the most important meal of the day in Hawaii.”
Oshima says the restaurant will work with more local vendors in the future and feature more local products to support and showcase Hawaii’s best products for visitors and residents.
