Showcasing the culinary talents of executive chef Wade Ueoka and pastry chef Michelle Karr-Ueoka in a casual setting, Artizen by MW is a chic counter-style café that serves up local comfort flavors at affordable prices. Customers can enjoy lunch or dinner to-go with the option of dining on-site in an airy contemporary space. Happy hours are also available for the perfect pau hana.
Try the Kalua Pig Quesadillas ($11), which comprises MountainView Farms kalua pig, Sinaloa tortillas and Hoisin Sriracha. For a seafood option, try the Fish Tacos ($16) that uses Kona kampachi, which is a yellowtail fish bred in Kona, seasoned with avocado creama, spicy yukari mayonnaise and pickled corn relish. The Fried Mochi ($7) comes in tasty braised nori sheets mixed in kabayaki, sweetened with unagi sauce and seasoned with togarashi and green onion.
For those craving the taste of Artizen by MW but want to enjoy it in the comfort of their own home, there are also pre-packaged meals to warm up, including hamburger curry, oxtail butterfish laulau and more.
