Pick up perfect party platters

There are many platter options at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.

The holidays are here, and L&L Hawaiian Barbecue’s catering offers ono options to please party-goers — without the stress.

“Any reason for any gathering is a good time to cater with L&L,” says Brandon Dela Cruz, L&L’s director of marketing.

L&L offers small, medium and large pans of many of its menu items that can be mixed and matched to fit any need. It also offers grab-and-go bento packs.

For a traditional Hawaii party or gathering, Dela Cruz recommends a few staple platters. “Begin with white or brown rice and an additional starch, such as macaroni salad, tossed salad or Spam fried noodles,” he explains. “Accompany those dishes with two to three main entrées like Mochiko Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Kalua Pork with Cabbage and/or Garlic Shrimp.”

Prices for platters vary by location with several Hawaii L&L restaurants offering a catering “Value Pack” that typically contains Steamed Rice, Macaroni Salad, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu and BBQ Beef.

Call or visit your local L&L to order catering. Advanced notice is appreciated to ensure the fresh platters can be prepared, and some locations are able to provide catering with as short as 48-hour notice.

“Given that there is an L&L within 20 minutes from anywhere on Oahu and 217 locations throughout Hawaii and the United States, it’s easy to secure catering for your next gathering,” Dela Cruz says.
