Staying at home this Father’s Day? Hy’s Prime Butcher Shop & Market has got you covered.
Its to-go Father’s Day Ohana Feast ($450) includes nine mouthwatering dishes and serves six people. The complete dinner set boasts Kansas City barbecue ribs as well as 4-4 1/2 pounds of the restaurant’s famous slow-roasted prime rib, which is prepared rare with instructions to bring it to the perfect temperature.
Also included are trio cheese biscuits, garlic mashed potatoes, caprese salad with basil, mozzarella cheese and balsamic reduction, truffle macaroni au gratin, shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce, and Ewa creamed corn. And for dessert, guests can indulge in decadent tiramisu.
Carl Anderson, director of sales and marketing, says that he’s most excited for customers to try the Kansas City barbecue ribs and notes “in addition to our famous 4-4 1/2 pounds of prime rib, the BBQ ribs are world class.”
The butcher shop and market, which is affiliated with Hy’s Steak House, originally opened in 2020.
“During the lockdown, we wanted to provide our guests the Hy’s experience at home, as there was a high demand for it,” Anderson explains.
On the eatery’s name, Anderson says “we wanted a name to convey the level of quality and how much care goes into preparing each dish.”
“We appreciate our community who have come to be like our extended friends and family for more than 45 years,” Anderson adds.
Orders for the Father’s Day Ohana Feast must be confirmed by June 12. Pickup is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 19.
