End 2021 with a bang, and ring in 2022 with loved ones by gathering around the teppan grill at Tanaka of Tokyo this holiday season. Proudly serving Hawaii since 1978, the full-service teppanyaki restaurant now has three locations — each committing to the same mission of providing guests with the highest quality of seafood and steak with impeccable service. Voted “Best Japanese Teppanyaki Steak House” in Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Hawaii’s Best 2021 publication, Tanaka of Tokyo continues to give its honored guests a memorable experience with its New Year’s Eve special promotion.

Featuring its kotobuki course, this menu includes a 5-ounce center cut beef tenderloin paired with two 4-ounce cold-water Tristan lobster tails, scallops and housemade poke for $100. It also includes a house salad, miso soup, shrimp appetizer, teppan-grilled vegetables, white rice, pickled vegetables, green tea and dessert.
For an additional $30, you can upgrade your fillet to an 8-ounce cut of wagyu. Try the course with the restaurant’s famous garlic fried rice cooked on the teppanyaki grill for $5.25.
