Local diners continue to rave about Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s exceptional wet-aged steaks, which are selected from the top 2% of the country’s beef. They are broiled in 1800-degree ovens and served with butter on piping-hot 500-degree plates to ensure every bite is delicious.
In addition to serving up the signature “sizzle” with each of its masterfully prepared USDA Prime steaks and succulent seafood, the New Orleans-inspired cuisine at Ruth’s Chris helps diners make memories one delicious experience at a time.
While the menu has been adjusted slightly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant team is ready to serve guests with physical distancing and appropriate cleaning and sanitization practices in place.
The establishment also features fresh seafood, an award-winning wine list and a wide variety of appetizers, salads, side dishes and desserts all served in an inviting atmosphere accompanied by impeccable service and hospitality. Ruth’s Chris has been a go-to destination at its Waterfront Plaza location in Honolulu for more than 32 years, and the restaurant group has been serving diners nationwide for nearly six decades.
General manager Jon Kobashigawa invites guests to Ruth’s Chris’ ongoing Wine Dinner series at the Waterfront Plaza location, all dinners featuring special five course set menus. Coming up Aug. 25-26 is the Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Dinner — however reservations for this week’s dinner are extremely limited. Not to worry, though, as the Chateau Montelena Wine Dinner will be held Sept. 22-23, and the Caymus Wine Dinner is set for Oct. 20-21. Diners may call the restaurant for more information and to make reservations.
Those planning a romantic evening with their significant other or a night out with a friend, meanwhile, can opt for the chateaubriand for two, offered nightly, which offers guests a choice of Caesar salad, steak house salad or gumbo; chateaubriand tenderloin; sides of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach; and Chocolate Sin Cake to share for dessert – all for $195.
