In honor of today’s celebration of National American Beer Day, J. Dolan’s is offering a sip-sational deal on two of its popular featured brews. J. Dolan’s is well known for its delicious handcrafted pizzas and hand-poured beverages, and when guests visit today and tonight to honor National American Beer Day, the friendly team has a duo of popular ice-cold choices standing by.
Throughout the day and into the evening of Oct. 27, guests can enjoy $7 pints ($1 off the regular price) of Born Yesterday brewed by Lagunitas of Petaluma, California and Chasin’ Freshies, which is crafted by Deschutes of Bend, Oregon. The J. Dolan’s team let Dining Out know that Born Yesterday arrived on Oahu just eight days after being packaged, so it’s as fresh as can be.
The process of making beer in America has a long and distinguished history, which dates back to hundreds of years ago. It is thought that before European settlers took root, Native Americans brewed their own beer from various ingredients. Later, when European colonists arrived they melded their time-honored brewing processes with local supplies such as corn. Ever since that time, America has had a rich story of beer production that continues today.
INDULGE IN SOME LOVELY SUDS
J. Dolan’s is also home to the go-to Irish beer standards including Guinness ($8 for an Imperial Pint), Harp Lager ($7 for 16 oz.), Smithwick’s Red ($7 for 16 oz.). And yes, the staff definitely pours beer combinations the likes of Half & Half, Black & Tan, Blacksmith, Snake Bite, and Black Velvet (prices vary).
Be sure to check out all the beers on tap and available in bottles at J. Dolan’s, and enjoy the suds with a slice (or a pie!) of one’s favorite pizza.
