If you’re looking for a thrilling dining adventure for a date, birthday celebration, or even just a wonderful meal with friends and family, head to Tanaka of Tokyo. This delightful destination restaurant, now in its 41st year, provides a textbook showcase for the exciting art of teppanyaki.
“The performance cooking done by our chefs tableside, and efficient and friendly service by our staff, makes a fun dining experience,” says vice-president Hiroshi Lamansky. “With Mother’s Day coming up, it’s best to make reservations early!”
Popular meals include Steak & Teriyaki Chicken ($29.75), a Certified Angus Beef sirloin steak and a tender, juicy grilled chicken thigh. There’s also the Matsu ($45.75), which includes the Angus sirloin, chicken thigh and a lobster tail. All of Tanaka’s full nine-course meals include salad, shrimp appetizer, vegetables, white rice, pickled vegetables, miso soup, Japanese green tea and dessert.
