Seafood spot has something for everyone

Raging Bowl ($12.99)

There is always that one diner in the group who just can’t seem to order food the way it’s described on the menu. Sometimes it’s a simple request, and other times, they get extra creative with their add-ons and substitutions.

Thankfully, Raging Crab is suited to even the pickiest of eaters.

So duck in shame and apologize on behalf of your choosy friend, no longer! Your crew can scuttle into Raging Crab and get ready to claw away at a very customizable meal.

The eatery’s menu starts off with three steps that result in a meal made just for you.

Chowder Fries ($7)

First, choose a seafood by the pound — crab, shrimp, etc. Then, customize in the next two steps with a special seasoning — garlic butter, lemon pepper, raging Cajun or all of the above — and a spice level that goes from mild to ghost chili pepper.

Restaurant co-owner JC “Moto” Chow recommends adding a comforting Raging Bowl ($12.99). “Our house-made chowder is topped with actual Manila clams and served in our toasted sourdough-bread bowl, finished off with Old Bay Seasoning and parsley flakes,” says Chow. She also suggests the famous Chowder Fries ($7) — Cajun fries smothered in the same homemade chowder as in the Raging Bowl.

There’s no reason to be “crabby” at this eatery, especially with its enthusiastic staff. “We treat our employees like family and emphasize during training that we want our customers to feel the aloha spirit,” says Chow. “Some of the best dining experiences are not only based on the quality of food, but instead, on the customer service they receive.”

So don your Raging Crab bibs and gloves, take that social media-worthy picture and enjoy every bit of flavor you choose for your seafood feast.
