It takes more than a fire to keep a good plate lunch place down.
In September 2019, an accidental fire erupted at the Wahiawa L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. According to the Honolulu Fire Department, the restaurant sustained about $85,000 in damages.
However, by late January of this year the Wahiawa L&L was once again open for business, offering hungry diners a wide variety of beloved local favorites.
