Grab the caps and gowns because graduations are right around the corner, and Big City Diner has long-loved favorite foods to host the perfect party.
The Graduation Family Meal Deal Pack ($299.99) serves 12-15 people with
seven mouthwatering platters.
Staple platters start the menu. Spicy-garlic soybeans and steamed white rice are
essential at any Hawaii party. Big City Diner also showcases one of its stellar starches in the pack: local-style fried min noodles with Chinatown char-siu, fresh veggies and local eggs.
Some of Big City Diner’s most popular plates also comprise the catering package. Spicy guava-barbecue chicken wings will make mouths salivate. While homemade hamburger steak with caramelized onions and roasted-garlic shrimp skewers add to the festive feast.
Li-hing fresh island pineapple completes the menu, leaving a sweet tangy taste on the tongue.
If your keiki is not yet graduating, stop by one of Big City Diner’s five Oahu locations on Thursday for a free kid’s meal. With the purchase of an adult dine-in entrée of $15 or more and a beverage, a child under 10 years old can receive a free meal — limited to two meals per table.
Keiki favorites include Mr. Chipper ($7.99), a chocolate chip pancake with whipped cream, and Pigs & Peas in a Haystack ($8.99), diced ham and green peas tossed with macaroni and cheddar cheese.
