Customers can enjoy the enchanting scenery of Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial as they dine at Pearl Country Club, located in Aiea.
Both the course and restaurant are open to the public, and patrons can expect a friendly environment and delicious food with their experience.
Warm up with chef Aurelio Garcia’s popular homemade Oxtail Soup ($20), which is simmered for three and a half hours with vegetables until the oxtail falls off the bones.
Offering a generous portion of meat, it is then finished with wonbok, kaichoy, Chinese parsley and fresh blended ginger. The dish is accompanied with a choice of white or brown rice, or guests can add ramen noodles for $2.
Diners can relish witnessing the sizzle and smoke when the restaurant’s Sizzling Rib-Eye ($25) is brought to the table.
Its sterling rib-eye steak is rubbed with herbs and spic- es, complemented with sliced onions before being flash- seared on a smoking hot cast-iron pan to medium-rare. It is then topped with green onions and sherry wine.
