In the tradition of Ha- waii-style backyard jam ses- sions (kanikapila translates to “let’s play music” in Hawai- ian), guests of the restaurant can indulge in great food and take in the sounds of Hawaii. In fact, for the past 14 years, Kani Ka Pila Grille has been instrumental in spearheading a talent search for local mu- sicians. This year’s winner is Kekoa Correa, whose range includes leo kiekie (falsetto).
