Rejoice over the choice with two new flavor-packed bento

Spicy Tuna Bento ($9.49)

Famous for the lightning-quick, double-rail train sushi delivery system in its restaurants, all Hawaii Genki Sushi locations also offer satisfying bento that guests can take with them to enjoy on a busy day.

For example, Genki Sushi offers a variety of specially priced to-go-only $7.99 bento choices. In those bento, customers can select one fried item — either Garlic Chicken, Squid Karaage, Chicken Katsu or Chicken Karaage. Next, they can select two sushi entrees from the following: Inari, California Roll, Kappa Maki, Ume Maki, Oshinko Maki and Kanpyo Maki.

Ahi Poke Bento ($9.49)

Additionally, the restaurants also offer two new togo bento options, Teriyaki Chicken and Sukiyaki ($9.49 each). They join the already introduced $9.49 Spicy Tuna and Ahi Poke bentos. So, there’s even more to love about the delicious tastes and affordable prices offered by the eateries.

“(With the) two new options we now have a total of four bentos for the extra $1.50,” says David Moon, purchasing director/operations for Genki Sushi USA.

Affordable, family-oriented Genki Sushi offers a smorgasbord of sushi platters that are awesome for holiday celebrations, get-togethers and special occasions. The popular party Platter A, for example, includes 50 pieces of assorted sushi varieties. It’s ideal for the entire ohana as multiple varieties steal the show like, Tekka Maki, Ahi, Ika, Tako and Ebi.

Teriyaki Chicken Bento ($9.49)

Other great options are set meals, featuring items such as Ika, Spicy Tuna, Tako, Tobiko, Tamago, Tako and more. Genki also serves a wide selection of rolls, bowls, fried items, nigiri and gunkan to satiate any appetite. Diners can cap off their meals in sweet style with delightful desserts, such as mochi ice cream, cake and others.

Genki Sushi boasts conveniently situated locations throughout Oahu to satisfy patrons’ palates. Honolulu sites include Kapahulu, Ward Center and Ala Moana Center. Other restaurants on the island are Ewa Town Center, Kaneohe, Kapolei Commons, Pearlridge Center Uptown and Waikele Center.

Sukiyaki Bento ($9.49)

Genki Sushi’s story all started in 1968 with Fumio Saito, a 24-year-old Japanese sushi chef who pioneered the concept of “kaiten sushi,” using conveyor belts to serve sushi.
