With its fast and convenient kaiten sushi (revolving conveyor belt), and fun interactive bullet express delivery system (available at most locations), Genki Sushi has become a family-favorite for its freshly prepared sushi, sashimi, temaki (hand rolls) and more.
The menu also offers assorted rice bowls, side dishes and dessert, such as Ahi Poke Bowl, Edamame, Somen Salad, Chicken Karaage, mochi ice cream and cupcakes.
The first Genki Sushi in Hawaii opened on Kapahulu in 1993, and has since grown to 12 locations throughout the state (Ala Moana Center, Ewa Town Center, Kaneohe, Kapahulu, Kapolei Commons, Pearlridge Center Uptown, Waikele Center, Ward Center, Maui Mall, Kona Commons, Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo, and Kukui Grove Shopping Center on Kauai). All locations also offer party platters, which are especially popular for potlucks and special occasions.
READY TO GO!
A top selling platter is the California Platter ($33.50) consisting of 24 pieces of the classic California roll and 13 pieces of Inari. All platters are made to order, and normally take just 20-30 minutes. However, during the holidays, it’s best to order in advance. For those on the go, Genki Sushi also has a takeout menu featuring set sushi bentos, such as the Ahi Set ($18.50) with ahi poke, spicy tuna, garlic ahi, tekka and ahi nigiri; and the Spicy Tuna Set ($17.50) with 10 pieces of its signature Spicy Tuna made with Genki Sushi’s famous spicy blend.
